The models in my photographs are shown in extreme poses, not similar to classical sculptures. They are pale, almost white, untainted, and cold. I do not emphasize muscle definition, masculinity, or femininity. Rather, I try to highlight harmlessness, innocence, and anonymity to create some kind of nostalgia. ... I see trees of green, red roses too.

I see them bloom, for me and you.

And I think to myself... what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue, and clouds of white.

The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night

And I think to myself, what a wonderful world...
